With a tasty lunch, you can enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean sunshine, but at a suitably cooling, shady table. You'll find that the ingredients for this delicious meal are mainly from our own Earthlab farm and local farms - real local food."
Location
The Health Center is located in the northern part of the island of Cyprus, in the village of Mersinlik. People come to the north coast to enjoy the sun, sandy beaches, magical Mediterranean coves, inspiring mountain trails and a top-class golfing experience. This small, idyllic area has plenty of space to be and breathe the fresh air - with nature and its stunning mountain ranges right next door.
The Health Center is just minutes from the tourist beach of Kaplica, and just over 30 minutes from the beautiful port town of Famagusta, full of fascinating history, but also shopping, restaurants and nightlife. The crown jewel of the northern coast of Cyprus is the historic port town of Kyrenia itself and there are several, superb casino hotels along the coast with a comprehensive range of facilities to choose from.
Larnaca airport in southern Cyprus is around 70 minutes away and the newly renovated Ercan airport in northern Cyprus around 45 minutes.
The northern part of Cyprus has been particularly popular with British, Europeans and Scandinavians, especially the Esentepe area. However, it was not so long ago that there were hardly any holiday homes in Esenteppe. Indeed, the area has developed very rapidly, while the value of housing has risen sharply.
The Mersinlik area is the future 'Esentepe'. This is therefore also good news in terms of home values - the future development of prices in the area looks particularly promising.

" This "winter" day is so beautiful that you should make the most of it for your favourite hobby - after all, golf is in season now. The weather is calm and sunny, and the temperature is comfortably in the high 20s.
The 18-hole Korineum International Golf Course is just over 20 minutes away. On the way to the course, you'll enjoy the familiar mountain and seascapes, but they'll still delight you and make you feel grateful.
When you arrive, you'll hear a familiar chatter - a group of Finns have arrived at the golf holiday again. You join a nice group and get to catch up with each other. After a round of golf together, you agree to have lunch at the cosy Korineum terrace restaurant.
Life is wonderfully enjoyable! "
Activies In North Cyprus
Although it is often emphasised that Northern Cyprus is not a "tourist trap", don't let that fool you: the range of services is very wide and you are sure to find everything you need and more.
Northern Cyprus is particularly renowned for its numerous, luxury casino hotels, which, in addition to casinos, offer a full range of services. Stunning pool areas, spas, water parks and a wide variety of restaurants, bars and nightclubs are available to all those living on or visiting the island.
For the active, there is a wide range of activities such as flip-flops, kite surfing, cycling, quad biking, horse riding, or even the skiing familiar to us Finns (open for a short time in the winter season on Cyprus' Troodos mountains). In fact, a few years ago one of our very sporty friends started his day with SUP surfing, went skiing later in the day and still managed to kite board in the evening!
One of the most spectacular golf courses in the Mediterranean is the Korineum Golf Resort. The course is an 18-hole, championship level course (par 72) designed for all types of golfers, with a nice challenge. The course is surrounded by pine and olive trees, and each hole offers spectacular views of both the Mediterranean and the mountains.
Cyprus is also very important from a cultural and historical point of view, with the first evidence of civilisation on the island dating back as far as 9,000 years. There are therefore many sites worth visiting, such as the ruins of the ancient city of Salamis, the old fortifications in the mountains or the beautiful monastery of Bellapais, which is also home to one of the most famous restaurants in northern Cyprus.
An absolute family favourite is a visit to the Karpaz peninsula. Karpaz has the most stunning white-sand beach in Cyprus, but the highlight of the trip might be feeding the wild donkeys in the nature reserve. The donkeys are real devourers of apples, carrots and nuts!
There's also a range of boat trips in the turquoise Mediterranean to suit families and those who love sun, swimming and relaxation.
And don't forget the shopping! The main cities of Kyrenia, Nicosia and Famagusta offer great shopping opportunities for clothes, jewellery and even home furnishings.
And if you're interested in exploring further south, showing your passport is a handy way to get to southern Cyprus - even if you're in the town of Nicosia and can walk across the border. And, for example, northerners have been picking up home furnishings from Ikea in the south.
